Engine Co 3 Announces Exciting Move to New Station

[Guilderland], [10/27/2023] — Engine Co 3, is thrilled to announce its relocation to a brand-new home. The move marks a significant milestone in the restoration process and our continued commitment to preserving the history of the fire service.

Key features of the new fire station include:

• Modern Facilities: The station is equipped with a variety of historic firefighting equipment, a spacious bay for Engine 3 as well as an area to continue restoration efforts.
• Green Initiatives: The new facility incorporates eco-friendly design elements and sustainable practices, reducing its environmental footprint and promoting a healthier community.
• Community Engagement: Engine Co 3 looks forward to being able to participate in community events in order to share the love of the fire service as well as promote the message of fire safety.

“The move to our permanent home is a significant moment in cementing the future of Engine Co,” said spokesperson Sean O’Connor. “This new building will empower our team of volunteers to continue restoration efforts as well as share the history of this engine with everyone.”

In 2024 the volunteers look forward to appearing at community events in the Guilderland area where the engine can be put on display for visitors to enjoy.
